A beautiful plaid metallic dress by Chloé. The label dates to the 80’s, and after some research this is possibly designed in the Karl Lagerfeld era. The dress has some stunning details. There are double pleats that run from the shoulder, down the sides to the waist, the back also is beautifully pleated. The sleeves are cuffed, and get slightly tighter at the wrist. Down the front, the dress fastens with covered buttons and hook and eyes. Box pleats at the waist means that the skirt has plenty of fabric, giving the perfect swish. There is no care label, but is known to be silk with lamé. It is only lined in the body of the dress.
Please note that the silver of this dress seems to absorb warm light, giving a warm silver tone at times.
